Hey! I'm not dead! In fact, I'm more alive n' busy than ever! Lemme tell ya 'bout it

The holidays were good n' all, I got some neat presents. But the best part was turning 21. So now I don't have to be paranoid, hanging out with my older friends, thinkin' I'm gonna get them in trouble. I can also go into BevMo. Woo! And my mom planned a Vegas trip that I just got back from, including tickets to see The Lion King musical.

It was amazing. oAo

But now I'm back and ready for school! I'm really excited, because I'm going to be taking a class with one of my favorite teachers (Jim Dowdalls). I'll also be taking Beginning Painting, and I'm hoping that I'll learn enough to help me with digital painting too! I got a really laid back, cool teacher that is well known and really well liked. Also, friends tell me that he knows what he's talking about and is great for beginners.

I think this semester is going to be fairly easy... and then I'll get my Associates Degree! WOO! I know it's just a piece of paper, but it's still neat.

I've also promised to be more active on my DA. That means uploading art, commenting on other works, and maybe even uploading a journal or two.

He's got to be the greatest teach in THE WORLD. Honest. I learned more in his Animal Anatomy class than I did in all of my classes at Fullerton combined. Seriously. I even paid money and went to his seminars on my own time, because he's just that fabulous of an instructor. I've gushed about him to plenty of people, but what I say is true... and even if it's just a little blurb on this 'nobody's' journal, I wanna support him. :3c
